Techniques for Problem Solving
Workshop Outcomes
This workshop is designed for a target audience of administrative, logistics, service or other business support personnel solving problems in the work place. It will provide a sufficiently detailed framework around which the participant can usefully put into practice the aims and objectives of focused problem solving. The workshop demonstrates practical examples of problem solving relating to the workplace.
Outcomes
On completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Use the 7 Step Problem Solving approach ( Plan, Do Change, Act cycle).
- Demonstrate the use of problem solving as an approach for continuous improvement.
- Use problem solving tools
Utilise ‘Action Plans’ to gain experience in defining “early warning” indicators to help recognize problems timeously.
