Getting Involved with Total Productive Maintenance

Course Outcomes

This course is designed for a target audience of Production / Engineering Services and Maintenance Practitioners. It will provide a detailed framework around which the participant can usefully put into practice the aims and objectives of TPM. It demonstrates the principles underlining the philosophy or culture of TPM and will give the participant the tools to develop a TPM implementation within their organisation. It provides a perspective of what TPM is and what it is not such that participants can adequately decide if the climate is appropriate for introducing the methodology in their organisation.

For participants already involved with TPM it re-enforces the key concepts which must be handled if TPM is to be a success within their organisation. The course places emphasis on using TPM to reduce costs, increase productivity, reduce machine downtime and support quality, on-time deliverables for high levels of customer service.
